2.1. Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, date of birth, your current weight and height in order to calculate your goal weight, BMI, BMR and calories required for maintaining or losing weight.
2.2. Usage Data: We collect information about app usage for diagnostic purposes only.
2.3. Health and Fitness Data: If you choose to connect your Google account via Google OAuth to NutraVerse, we request read-only access to your Google Fitness data (specifically, activity data such as steps, distance, and calories burned) through the Google Fit API. This information is used solely to display your fitness progress within the App and to help calculate calorie expenditure more accurately. We do not use this data for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Camera Usage
3.1 The App uses your camera for 2 purposes, (a) to barcode scan a product, the barcode you scanned will search a database of foods to retrieve the items information.
3.2 To add an image to a Recipe. The image of the recipe will be stored against your user account for proper App functionality.
4. How We Use Your Information
4.1. To provide and improve the App’s services.
4.2. To provide technical support.
4.3. To personalize your experience on the App.
4.4. To comply with legal obligations.
4.5 Remind you when your subscriptions are due to expire.
5. Sharing Your Information
5.1. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the App’s services on the development platform or any developers we engage to provide our services and technical support, or as required by law.
5.2. We may share anonymized and aggregated data with other third parties for diagnostic purposes only.
5.3 Data is only shared with third-party applications (e.g., email platforms) to deliver app functionality or communication, excluding any fitness or health data retrieved via Google APIs, which is never shared.

11. Use of Google User Data via OAuth
11.1. If you choose to sign in with Google or connect your Google Fit account to NutraVerse, we will request read-only access to your fitness activity data (e.g., steps, distance, calories burned) via Google Fit API.
11.2. This data is used exclusively to enhance your experience within the NutraVerse app by allowing us to:
Provide an overview of your daily activity in conjunction with your nutritional goals;
Automatically estimate calories burned to better tailor calorie recommendations;
Present your fitness trends within the app dashboard.
11.3. We do not share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for marketing, advertising, or profiling.
11.4. You may revoke access to this data at any time via your Google Account permissions page:

11.5. Any fitness data obtained from your Google account is retained only for as long as you maintain your account with NutraVerse and is securely deleted upon account deletion.
